The Three Aspects of Christ

Posted on November 11, 2014

Christ is a universal cosmic force,

that can be intimately born within sufficiently prepared individuals,

and which manifested in profound glory in the life of Jesus of Nazareth.

Historical Christ

Jesus of Nazareth is one of three aspect of the Christ. Jesus of Nazareth lived in the Middle East over two thousand years ago, and worked intensely, giving the teachings that later became Christianity. These teachings have been preserved in the canonical four gospels of the New Testament, in the apocryphal gospels, and in the widespread impact of the Christian religion.

There have been many individuals who fulfilled that role and received the spiritual title of Christ, but Jesus of Nazareth lived the path openly and made his ultimate sacrifice out of a deep human love.

Christ is a title given to the internal Being of someone who has incarnated the Christ force. This is something very mysterious and very rare, but the internal processes of preparation for the incarnation of the Christ is a universal teaching in all religions.

Cosmic Christ

Christ is a universal and cosmic force that exists as part of the trifecta of Father, Son, and Holy Breath or Holy Spirit.

Also called Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva; Osiris, Horus and Isis etc.

God the Father unfolds into Christ the Son and we see this on the Kabbalistic tree of life as Kether unfolding into Chokmah.

God the Father is the creator of all things, the light and fire of heaven. Christ the Son is pure love who descends into suffering humanity to redeem over and over.

This Cosmic Christ force is not limited to the Christian religion, it is an integral part of all religions because it is an integral part of the universe. Without the intelligence of love and divine redemption humankind would live in psychological darkness and suffering.

Intimate Christ

The intimate Christ can and has incarnated in any person sufficiently prepared through voluntary sacrifice and love of humanity. Christs such as Krishna, Buddha, Quetzalcoatl, Avalokiteshvara, Zoroaster, Fu Xi, Mohammad, Moses, Lao Tzu, and Joan of Arc.

Many people who incarnated the Christ live in obscurity and the world has never known their names, but they work humbly to serve humanity.

This intimate and interior process generates true revelation, and is accomplished through arduous work through the three factors for the revolution of the consciousness.

The life of Jesus of Nazareth is profound because he showed the internal path of the Christ with his very life. His birth, baptism, teachings, miracles, persecution, passion, death and resurrection are a radical example of the Christic Path.

Anyone who incarnates the Christ will do it in their individual way in accordance with the will of they own inner God, but the life of Jesus of Nazareth inspires profound reflection.

“Uselessly Christ in Bethlehem would have been born, if within our heart he is not also born, uselessly he would have died and resurrected in the Holy Land if he does not die and resurrect within us again.”
-Samael Aun Weor
